A former Seattlite, I now live in Istanbul, Turkey. After having been without a garden for 5 years, I finally am back into it. But plants availale in nurseries here range mostly from run-of-the-mill to boring. So Ill have to work mostl from seed as mail ordering plants is expensive, and anything that weighs over a kilo will have me negotiating the byzantine labyrinth of Turkish postal customs for most of a day...
However there are many wonderful things (many of them popular in western gardens) growing here in the country.
