I am a transplant to New England, originally from Tennessee. I began my garden when we bought our first home, though I have always had an interest!

I plant mostly perennials on a third of an acre lot. My favorites are Coreopsis and Shasta Daisy - they're what I started with and they provided me with the confidence to keep going!

I have two great helpers in the garden, my two children - a boy, 8, a girl, 3. The menaces are: marcy the cat, moosh the dog....they love to make a mess!

You'll find my husband in the rocking chair on the front porch admiring our work!
