I live just outside Grant Park in the Atlanta metro area. Ive only been in love with planting and landscaping for a few years now, but Im no stranger to gardening and harvesting thanks to my family. I dont think I look or act like the typical "gardening type" people Ive run into in my travels. I dont like invasive species, regardless of ornamental value, and have been fighting (very successfully) for years with kudzu, chinese privet and japanese wisteria around my house and neighbors houses. I am a huge computer geek and a gearhead; I work in tech industry and I love swapping newer fuel injected engines into classic GM vehicles. Socially outgoing, always interested in meeting local gardeners and swapping plants, sharing seeds, etc. Some day Im going to buy Walter Reeves lunch.
