I live in Sterling Heights, MI, and work inside as a secretary all day and love to get outside in the evening. I don't usually come in until dark. I have hostas (wish I had more shade), prennials, containers, and a vegetable garden.

I recently read Weedless Gardening and will use the concepts outlined in this book to more fully utilize my veggie area in the future. I mulched this area with leaves this year - no weeds. It really works and conserves water.

I also enjoy beading, and belong to local beadworkers guild. If I'm not gardening, I'm beading.
