I started to garden again after almost 20 years, My husband was in the military and we did alot of moving around, which I loved. However, I have literally yearned for a house with a yard big enough for a garden again . Up until recently, all I have had was a few potted vegetables. Am now in my 6th real year of gardening and absolutely love playing in the dirt again. I would rather do this than to go to work. I teach students with emotional disturbance and I can not wait until the school year is over.

It's really hard for me to narrow down forums to personal favorites. I planted 3 blueberry bushes last summer.I love house plants, have learned how to grow my grandmother's violets, I also am composting, was given a phalenopsis, etc., I love this site.

My children, ages 31 and 28, are both out of the house. Both are married, we have grand-dogs and at this time, that's fine with me.
