Working on a nascent garden of perennials and vegetables that borders my neighbour's beautiful border. I work backward from my neighbour's border, doing mine one patch at a time and try never to look behind me at the tangle of growth/weediness yet to be "dealt with"--otherwise it would be too demoralising.
