Have a new garden, which means poor soil, small space, way too many choices for what I want to plant. But know that I want to go organic, fragrant, edible, pretty. And manageable when I am older. I grew up in a farm in the Ozark Mountains in Missouri where we raised all our veggies. My mother wasn't too much on flowers. So all we had were the perennials that were there when we bought the farm.

My greenhouse is not heated and does not recieve the best light.

I am also interested in the tea plants, culinary herbs, French vegetable style, love Asian foods and the Asian Vegetables and artsy garden "stuff". Have done hypertufa only once and loved it, will do more when the weather warms up, November was just too cold.

I have planted 2 espaliered apple trees, Nergonne fig which will be espaliered in a fan shape, and strawberries. I am interested also in square foot and companion gardening.

I live in: United States

My zone is: z8 OR
