Hi. I moved out to British Columbia end of 1994 from New Brunswick (Eastern Canada), and I loved the mild winters there. I took advantage of such a climate by keeping some mums on my balcony in pots, as well as some perennials. I am fairly new at gardening, so time to time, I will be asking people some gardening questions, and I know I will get some helpful answers. I like this website -it really has been helpful to me so far...It is now June 2010, and I moved to Scarborough, Ontario, where the winters are much colder than BC. I guess here I can�t do winter balcony gardening like I did in BC, but I will look forward to spring next year and start my balcony garden. I just recently purchased my second Phal orchid. I also am new at growing these.
