Hello. I am an amateur gardener in Brooklyn. I love plants but I don't know that much about them. I desperately want my plants to do well so I would like to learn as much as I can. I like holistic, "Old wive's tale" tips for plants rather than buying a slew of chemicals. I try to avoid chemicals as much as possible with everything, not just my plants. Someone recently told me that soaking eggshells in water for two days and then watering the plants with this water helps restore nutrients and prevent fungi. I'm going to try.

I live in: United States

My zone is: brooklyn, ny
