I am a new to gardening,gardening now for about 5 years.My first love is roses.However ,I have now developed a whole new interest in cottage type gardens with foxgloves etc.
I am learning new things about gardening in general all the time and find that gardening is very relaxing,calming and rewarding.
I am a primary teacher ,not working at the moment, with a delightful husband and two great kids aged 10 and 15.
I have about 60 roses of all types, both planted in the ground and in containers.We had to start the garden from scratch because when we moved here about 7 years ago ,we had to level everything, remove trees etc.A huge job.
We are now entering the finishing stages and its looking pretty good!
I love the forums and have learned a great deal,often had a good laugh and hope to contribute something useful or entertaining.
