My dad got me interested in roses in the '40's and I have been fooling with them ever since. I am a "Silver Fox" of 73 now, a retired educator, ARS member and CR Emeritus, unmarried, with many friends, but no intentions of becoming encumbered with any kind of significant other ever again. Been there and done that. I think I embarrassed some of my collegues once when I commented on marriage this way: "Every man in his life is entitled to one good dog and one good woman. I have had more then my share of dogs."
