I am a former Reading Recovery/Literacy Sp. teacher. I love children, animals, and my roses. My husband and I live in Flower Mound, TX with our daughter whos over a yr. old. We have 3 fur babies 2 cats-1 medium hair domestic and 1 Maine Coon, and 1 dog a yellow lab mix. My childhood dream of having a rose garden finally came true. I bought my first roses about 9 years ago and planted them in containers in hopes that they would have their own home. June of 2001 I moved from near the Houston area to an area about 45 min. from Dallas and purchased a home. I had completed two rose beds. One was for my modern roses and the other was for antique/English roses around a fish pond. Now, recently I have moved to another home and plan to build some new bads and transplant some of my roses that I took from my old home. There is a small bed left from the previous owners with some moderns. I love the forums! I learn more and more every time I visit.
