I moved to Hickory, NC from Miami, FL six years ago and am working on my great-aunts old place, clearing paths and creating organic gardens. No one has lived there for 30 years, and it is very hilly, so it has been a challenge! Lasagna beds & companion gardening are my preference, and I LOVE bearded irises and herbs. Also growing blueberries that I get each year from the local 4-H. Someday Ill have a farm!
