We all live in the Great Lakes region but will be moving to the Ozark Mtn. area within 6 months. Our garden is on semi-hold this year, what with moving plans. Put some hostas and daffodils in containers to take with, and will miss my established perennials, but I hope the new owner of my home will enjoy them as much as we have over the last 16 years.
We are inveterate "junkers" but you'd be SURPRISED!!! what other people throw away. However, we are selective in what we scavenge for (this takes resolve!) Just to name a few items: Oriental rugs, power tools, quality outdoor furniture, a 1930-era garden rocker-type chair, etc. One never knows what will show up. So, here's hoping to hear from some folks out in cyberland who might be interested in coresponding. Or trading. Or comisserating. Hope you all have a glorious summer. ROSEBLOSSOM
