From the day I bought my first rose (about 12 years ago) Ive been hooked. Ive always enjoyed gardening, but roses border on an obession---she is indeed the queen of flowers. I currently grow about 100 roses.

I am blessed with a wonderful family---a wife and two children who are quite tolerant of Dad being \"out fooling with his roses again\". Other interests include folk/blues guitar (I play), birding, butterflying, photography, and abstract topics of any nature (a philosophy major).

I use a Canon digital camera, having finally surrendered to inevitability and shelved my old Canon 35 mm.
