Hello! I am fairly new to the plant and vegetation community. I have long been a part of the large animal crowd, especially horses, and I still very much am. You'll find pictures of my horses on my website. I've always loved keeping plants, but in my last year at college I finally had the time to take an intro class on indoor plants. And that was it; I was hooked. I began learning all about houseplants and amassed a few of my own. Once I began propagating I knew I had found a new passion (not to replace the old one! just in addition to it). I now have a good number of plants, and as I had been buying young, inexpensive plants, I now have a good number of sizable houseplants, all of which I'm very excited about. My favorites, I must admit, are the rope hoya I received as a birthday present and the peperomias (several green, and now one variegated!). I'll also admit that I'm wild about variegation, and recently saw a variegated split-leaf philodendron in a local nursery. It was amazing!
Anyway, there's a little bit about myself, and I'm so glad to have found a place where questions can be answered and tips shared.
