UPDATE October 2007
 There has been much happening this summer! I am very tired but also very please with the accomplishments of this past outdoor season! 

Finished planting the front flower bed!  Starting to look like a home!
 Lifted all the grass and planted my Bearded Iris (over 243 in here!)

UPDATE September 2006
Life is full of surprises isnt it? This spring my "DH" no longer wanted to hold that title so we shall rename him "D-X" instead. Our beautiful property in the country was sold and we went our separate ways. I am thankful that we remained good friends ... it made the division of assets and the move a whole lot easier!

Ive now moved into my new house and although I miss my 3-acre lot, I am thankful that I was able to find a new home within my snack range with a large enough back yard for most of my plants. It is a townhouse and I must say, I am not accustomed to such close living quarters but I will replace the chain-link fence with a nice wooden one to hopefully give me a bit of privacy.

Ive laid down my tarp to kill the grass and cant wait for spring! I NEED to dig the dirt once again!

July 2001
After being together 8 years, "DH" and I have purchased our very first home.  Its a gorgeous bungalow on a 3-acre lot in the country. The following year, I began to lift sod and make flower beds. I started with a large bed at the end of the driveway, then continued on to the front of the house.
