Used to live in Minnesota (zone 4), now live in northern Virginia. I love the weather here. It's exciting to live in suburban Washington DC, not only for the city, but also for the growing conditions. Here I can grow a lot of things I only dreamed about in Minnesota. I can dig in my yard even in the winter. I've also got a blank slate - I haven't planted anything here yet other than some daylilies and hosta I brought from my gardens in Minnesota.

I can hardly wait for spring.
