Gardening has become a very large part of my life. I live between New Orleans and the MS Gulf Coast. I have a water garden with a waterfall and fountain that needs work. I'm going to take the pre-fab liners out and put in a flexible liner. We have a bayou on one side, and a river (the East Pearl, the border between LA & MS) on the other side. It is so peaceful, and gives me and our guests a wonderful place to de-stress. I'm still learning what can & can't survive the winters here. We got down to 27 degrees last year (rare), so some of my plants died, but surprisingly, a lot came back with a little patience. Vines are something I need to learn more about. I love to plant for birds, hummingbirds, butterflies, and all kinds of critters. Even the squirrels and bunnies have been welcome so far...
