I just left a historic home in Mt. Pleasant D.C. in which I had a lovely shade garden and 200 year oaks. Have moved to Va. suburbs (McLean) to a street with many big tulip trees, but otherwise our yard is a clay moonscape with no vegetation and I am beginning over. Have a western exposure in front with much sun and an eastern exposure in back where the trees provide some shade. Am looking for everything and need help!
