I live in the northern panhandle of West Virginia on a ridgetop. Technically Im in zone 6, but because of my microclimate it is more of a zone 5. We battle the typical wildlife, especially deer who make it very difficult to grow anything here. My first love is roses, but Im getting into daylilies more and more. They are so beautiful and varied, not to mention rewarding to grow. I also enjoy vegetable gardening.
