My family are nearly ready to throw me out of the nest so I'm going to become a swallow and migrate from the UK to NS for my summers. On your Forums I read two letters 1. What would you do with 2 acres? and 2.Where is the best place to live?
Whales/salmon/swallows/some humans amongst many other species all migrate, so I thought why not combine the two questions with migration and live 6 months in each place. Annapolis Royal (NS-Canada) looked like my home County of Pembrokeshire in the UK.
Being a farmers son many years ago combined with being a keen gardener in a former life has left me with trying to plan how to benefit the land/people in NS without abusing anyones territory as has happened here in Pembrokeshire. So I have decided to buy a few (3 or 4 acres) and fix up the old house for local family to rent, I'll live in the barn like an old wise? owl.
