A small time vegetable and annual gardener that would love to expand to more adventurous types of growing but am restricted by virtue of living in a rustic wooded surrounding and root bound soil, plenty of land but not much growing room. Winter sowing has opened my eyes to trying new things and container gardening has expanded my growing area. My main veggie crop is usually tomatoes, cucs and beans, with many other routine crops. Ive recently started getting into composting more serious than in prior years and believe OM is the way to grow, but still use some chemical fertilizers. ***Update I no longer use chemical fertilizers in garden beds, only in containers.
