I have recently been reading quite a bit on intensive and organic gardening. I am doing my first real intensive garden this year in a community garden. I am very interested in organic gardening,heirlooms, companion planting and permaculture. Always up for learning new things, which is why I am excited about having a plot in a community garden. I also serve on the board of a non-profit organization here in Southeastern Ohio called Community Food Initiatives. Their mission is to help people learn and actively provide food for themselves.
