Well, let me see. I grew up on the Great Lakes. My father was a Lighthouse Keeper for 24 years. He had a beautiful garden on the island, growing our only fresh vegetables. He also loved gladiolas and grew some beauties.
I have had a garden of my own for many years ago, taking my favourite plants with me the times I have had to move house.
I do enjoy this site and hope to learn about plants and various types of gardening as I go.
