I am a gardening, seed collecting, photographer and homeschool my daughters here in Maryland. I also teach art to children, and am expanding that to photography and sewing. This Fall I plan to pursue becoming a Master Gardener, and then use this to share gardening with children to pass this wonderful way of life on to the next generation!
We have a house that is 2 years new to us, but over 230 years old. The gardens were non-existent so that has been our earnest pursuit and is a continuing labor of love, and work of course! As time and money allows the gardens will be expanded to include a small orchard on our acre of ground, a slightly enclosed cottage garden, an herb and a vegetable bed and perennial beds. These are all in progress and will be added to with plenty of trades and wintersowing!
