Hi! My name is Bob. I live in Union Grove NC Zone 7. I like to garden as much as I can but sometimes have trouble because I am disable with lower back problems. My disability does not keep me from trying but most of the time it tells me to go sit down and get out of the Sun.

I have gardened all of my life and cannot get enough of it even with my disability. We have always had a vegetable garden and what we did not use right away we canned or froze for latter use.

My favotite crops are Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Green beans. Well I like all of it. I try to grow my tomatoes from seed and over the years have had some success and some failures. But no matter what I keep trying.

I recently became interested in heirlooms but so far have not been very sucessful with them. I can get the seed to come up and the plants look good but they never bear like I think they should.

This is the first time I have ever signed on to anything on the Web. I have been looking at different forums and like what I see.
