I live in the Rocky Mountains of Southern Colorado, Zone 4. I am interested in growing food, xeriscaping, perennials, and how to get a lush looking garden in dry, clay, high altitude soil.

We built a house about three years ago and I am slowly getting some pretty nice plants established thanks to this site with it's friendly advice and also a few other sites as well. (high country gardens.com and the colorado extension office site)

The garden bug has bitten me real hard so I joined a communal garden and started one at work as well.
