I Live and garden in Louisiana. My children are grown and out of the house (for the most part). My garden is very private, screened from the street. I have some interest in native plants although I do have lots of other things. I tend to garden in a loose, informal, natural style. We are in an older neighborhood with big lots and lots of large trees. There is also an abundance of birds and other wild life. I enjoy walking in the garden, being surprised by the seasonal changes. A good bit of the garden is in deep shade, which defines what can be grown. My garden is my sancuary and place of retreat from the rest of the world.
