I established my "huerta" or vegetable garden in Walla Walla, WA in 1998. I have a few fruit trees (golden plum, Italian plum, sour apple, apricot, pear) and a budding interest in flowers. Right now my favorite veggie is the bean. I plan on growing Blue Coco, Rattlesnake, Scarlet Runner, Black Nightfall, and Kentucky Wonder in 2010. I'm always looking for veggies with fun color.
