I live in Hastings along the Mississippi but, was born and raised in a small farming community between Albert Lea and Owatonna. I have 3 wonderful kids, 2 beautiful grand-daughters and a very patient hubby. My grandparents planted the love of gardening in me and I, in turn, have given my own grand-daughters garden tools and have been taking them to the garden centers to select plants. They love it!
The best thing about gardening is the generous nature of the folks involved. Everyone is so willing to share advice, stories, plants, and knowledge. It's a wonderful family.
