I currently live on a wooded mountain farm surrounded by similar habitat. I can look out my bedroom window and see deer on the hillside, and wild turkeys fly up when I run up the mountain behind the house to my pond every morning I was disappointed in the photo quality of my Canon Powershot S2 IS 12 X zoom, and later my Olympus SP-550 18 X zoom point-and-shoot cameras so Gail suggested I buy a DSLR. I did research and bought a Canon EOS 40-D but the Sigma kit lenses, 28-70mm and 70-300mm, were blurry. So I did more research and bought a Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L and a Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 L I have a solar birdbath with a heater, and just set up a Non-Typical Cuddeback Capture camera on top of the hill near our pond.
