My husband and I have just purchased a new home on one flat acre of land. We have one huge walnut tree, a sweet gum, a red maple and two small unknowns. That is all we have on our property(6 trees), so I'm really excited about making it into something special. I'm starting from low cost seeds (beginner gardener)and I know it will take a few seasons to get it going but I know I will appreciate it even more. I have 3 children(11,9,3) and they are eager to get started too. We have never had a yard to garden in so we will have to learn by trial and error, but it will be fun.
