Gardening runs in my family. My Italian grandmother grew flowers when her husband was wondering why they weren't growing more things to eat. My mother was a fearless gardener by the sea on the Atlantic Ocean near Cape Cod.

Last year, a dream came true for me. I built a fenced cottage garden for perennials and birds. I have raised beds with pebble and beachshell walkways. I wish everyone else the realization of their own dream garden!
