I sort of stumbled into gardening in highschool - it was that or horse production and for a city kid there wasn't much doubt I was going to take plants! I found that I really enjoyed the horticulture class - and took another the following year.
Currently, I am in a place that I can do a little bit of container gardening and give the existing trees and shrubs some TLC. I am back in the learning saddle - learning on my own, but enjoying every minute of it. I am so excited to have found this site/forum and I'm learning more and more everytime I check in!
I'm hoping to instill a love for gardening in my children. *smile*
