This last December I moved into a house on 1/3 acre of sloping acidic clay mountainside (forest cleared about 5 years ago) on the south end of Eugene, Oregon. I am trying to establish an organic, mostly permacultural, mostly edible ecosystem on this land. I have heavy "deer pressure," but fortunately no bindweed (yet!).
