I enjoy my city location with sidewalks, streetlights, close neighbors. For many years we lived in the country, then on a big lake, now that DH is gone, on this pond-side
city lot.
My children are grown and gone, but do pile in on me with spouses and grandbabies. wonderful chaos!
After many years of owning hunting dogs, I now have my first little one--a Bichon/poodle mix. He makes me laugh every day, doesnt shed or have bad breath, and fits on my lap.
I worked for many years at a local bond investment company, then another ten years at our library. I still watch Wall St Week on TV and am an avid reader of mysteries.
Gardening is my avocation.
I love to travel, but have trouble finding someone to go with, as most of my contempories and work place friends still work. I was fortunate enough to be able to retire at an early age.
Am now looking for a cottage in northern WI as a get-away.
Very pricey tho! Guess thats a pipe dream. We all need to dream tho, dont we?
