I like plants and all animals. Favourite plants: shrubs, small bushes and most climbing plants, but especially clematis and passiflora. I have around a hundred plants squeezed onto my 10m2 terrace. Plants include: several hibiscus, some grown from cuttings :), six bouganvilleas, one grown from a cutting (I'm very proud of that one, it managed to take even though it was planted in the middle of a typical blazing hot Madrid August), a rhododendron, six clematis (Lord Nevill, Warsaw Nike, Hagley Hybrid, Lasurstern, Ernest Markham and an unidentified white one), a datura, a brugmansia, Pandorea Jasminoides, Plumbago, Jazmin, Mandevilla Amabilis (I think), Campsis Radican, 2 passifloras (one I think is Incarnata and the other Violacea), a baby fig-tree, a baby lemon tree, a gardenia, an azalea that somebody chucked in the trash this summer (and is now forming buds) a Solanum Rantonetti, a Tibouchina Urvilleana....and several other plants that I don't consider as worthy: geraniums, chrisanthemums, vinca, rosemary, etc.

Madrid summers are boiling and the winters are freezing so I have great fun trying to keep some of these plants happy!

Now what I've discovered I need, apart from a Clematis Niobe of course, is a Plumeria. I've just discovered this plant and I WANT ONE!!!

I live in: Spain

My zone is: zone 9 spain

My favorite forum 1 is Clematis.
