we have lots of plants inside and out in our small city yard; 1/2 acker shaded with old large trees maple, oak, hemlock, beechnut, american hornbeam, and hickery. shade is a problem and a blessing, and we love our wildlife. our 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 bird seem to enjoy it also.
