I moved from the east coast of the UK to Poitou-Charentes in western France nearly 10 years ago. Here we usually have hot summers often up to high 30s and cold winters down to -12 but the seasons are changing. Last winter was our coldest, down to -17 and this summer much cooler and with very little rain.
