Enthusiastic, if not particularly learned, gardener. Try to go as organic as possible. Prefer native plants. Dont like to fight Nature by having a huge neon-green lawn. Have a lot of shade, a tiny bit of sun. LOVE hostas! Live in lower-Hudson Valley. Weve lost a few trees to age and storms in the last couple of years, so now have full sun in front and one side. Yikes! Ive never gardened in the sun. Everything grows so fast - and I must remember sun protection for my skin.
