I live in White House, Tenn. Half an hour north of Nashville and 20 miles (or so) south of the Kentucky state line. I have a degree in Horticulture and work as a landscaper on a golf course in Nashville. I have spent 7 years here and I love it. I like to experiment with new ideas and plant materials. However, because there is a private membership presiding over the course, my budget is limited but I feel I do an excellent job given my situation. I grow most of the annuals I use from plugs in my greenhouse. I do bulbs for hosta, caladium, and helleborus; and seeds for jalapenos, tomatoes, and a variety of herbs. I am experienced in ornamental grasses and perennials as well. I like giving advice to others, helping them by letting them know things that I have tried, and by answering their questions. Also, being that I work on a golf course, I know about turf.
