A weekend garden in Maine until 2008 when I retire.) 2005 is my 3rd year at it after decades of no gardening, city living. Vegetable garden is 60' x 25', raised beds, organic and have several ever-expanding flower beds on my 3/4 acre. Enjoy canning, freezing, and storing the results and hosting friends and family that come to visit. Travel the Amtrak Downeaster train from Boston every friday and return monday morning after non-stop gardening and dealing with the bountiful consequences. I am a man who loves to cook and can! Raised three kids as a single parent so not foreign to the kitchen! I have learned much from the 5-6 forums I check regularly and finally decided to join in!
