Ima new to the business of gardening but have grown up tih it from parents like most people. My current favorite plant is cycad revoluta. although they seem to be very hardy they can not with stand the taument of a australian cattle dog who is only 9 months old. I had three cycads and she ate one so the other wo are now at mothers where they seem to be triving better than ever.
