I just moved to a wind city in New Mexico where the temperature in summer is close to 100F, and the winter can drop as low as 25F. I like to grow editable plants such as vegetables, fruit trees, and nut trees. It is the first year I've tried farming. I hope my plants will survive the winter, the strong wind, and frost. The descriptions from nursery companies for plants are often a bit different from those articles I later found on official education institutes. The nursery companies describe plants as easy to grow and "super-hardy", or "withstand extremely climate", while articles on the education institute states otherwise.

I live in: United States

My zone is: Z7, windy NM
