On Halloween 2003 I bought my very first house. One of the selling points was the small yard. Great I thought...not too much yard work. Then I decided to plant a long bed of marigolds along the driveway, which was covered in mulch and not too pretty. I also had taken out some huge hedges and in the bare spot threw in sunflower seeds for fun. Well that's all it took. I am totally hooked now and have decided to turn my small front yard into a Cottage Garden.
