God Almighty first planted a garden;
and, indeed, it is the purest of human
pleasures.

If your not killing plants, you are not really stretching yourself as a gardener.
J.C. Raulston

revamped November,2004
I have been in the field (sorry) for over twenty years. I am always interested in improving my knowledge in the native plant area. One of the aspects of gardening/landscaping I treasure the most is the continued sharing of information and the constant process of learning something new. Horticulture good guys for our time, Michael A. Dirr & Alex L. Shigo.
I work in a small mountain town in North Carolina as the Landscape Specialist.

Life in the North Carolina mountains is interesting (to say the least). Micro climates, terrain and unpredictable weather always provide challenges to the gardener here.

Remember: Its not what I write in this forum,
Its how you interpret it, that counts.

I am not one for politcal overtures, but I offer you this one anyway: \"The day that hunger is eradicated from the earth there will be the greatest spiritual explosion the world has ever known.
Humanity cannot imagine the joy that will burst into the world on the day of that great revolution.\"
