I'm 44 years old with one grown son and I am happily married. Three years ago, my husband and I bought the original 100 year old farm house from what was once a large poultry farm(now subdivided of course) We have spent a lot of time, money and energy on the inside of the house (which isn't finished yet) and done nothing outside but plant a front lawn and a cedar hedge all around for privacy. (We also own the duplex next door and rent it out so we enjoy privacy of the hedge.) This year we are going to put in our shrubs and perrenials and a front walk way with a bed alongside it. As well, I am hanging some annual baskets off the front porch and a few containers of annuals also. Some marigolds because my hubby likes them ( I don't)LOL .Looking for ideas, advice, counsel, kindred spirits...
