Growing roses has been my main hobby for 26 years. I have been involved in local rose societies for quite some time and I became an ARS consulting rosarian ten years ago (free advice, anyone?).

Collecting old rose and gardening books is another hobby. I have found more than half of the annuals of American Rose Society, the oldest from 1924, and hope to complete the set someday.
