This is my 5th year as a gardener. I have an 8x8 raised bed with peppers, tomatoes, basil, and spinach. I have two 2x4 square foot gardens, one planted with garlic and one doing not much with broccoli and lettuce. I think I didnt use enough compost in my initial mix. Though my tomatoes and peppers last year loved those boxes! This year we added a 4x8 box for corn. Also have a dahlia bed which I LOVE! And some perennial beds. Never was able to or interested in gardening before we bought this house, but I love it.
